BOOK SUGGESTION

THEME: Snow

This time around, I have chosen a very simple, yet very informative book. I Am Snow, is from Scholastic's "Hello Reader! Science" collection. The simple text will have children reading right along with you. If you read it to them more than once, leave it in your reading corner. Preschoolers will most likely be able to recall the words and "read" the book on their own. You may even let them take turns taking the book home to "read" it to their parents!

Children will love to make their own tissue paper snowflakes after admiring the ones illustrated in the book. Step by step instructions are included in the story.
