Chocolate spoons

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup milk chocolate chips (or black chocolate)
12 small plastic spoons
Waxed paper

Steps

Place chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl and cook on medium power approximately 5 minutes, stirring every 90 seconds. **Caution: Since microwave ovens vary in intensity, it is very important to keep a close watch during this operation.
Cook and stir until chocolate is completely melted.
Dip the tips of the spoons in the chocolate and deposit the chocolate spoons on a sheet of waxed paper.
Let chocolate harden. You may also put the spoons in the refrigerator to accelerate the process.
Tie a few spoons together with ribbon for the perfect Valentine's Day or Mother's Day gift.

Variation: You may also add extra flavour to your spoons by adding mint or orange extract. If the spoons are for adults you can even add a few drops of liquor. ☺
