Two examples of daily schedules

 

Example # 1: Typical daily schedule
7:00 to 9:00: breakfast & free play (children arrive)

9:00 to 9:15: circle time

9:15 to 9:30: morning snack

9:30 to 11:00: Indoor or outdoor theme activities

11:00 to 11:15: cleanup time

11:15 to 12:00: bathroom break and lunch.

12:00 to 1:00: quiet games e.g.: books

1:00 to 3:00: naptime or rest period

3:00 to 3:30: snack time

3:30 to 5:30: Indoor or outdoor free play. Gradual departure of the children

6:45 to 8:30: arrival and breakfast

8:30 to 9:00: washroom break and snacktime

9:00 to 11:00: circle time, guided activities and/or outdoor activities

11:00 to 11:30: Transition, cleanup, hygiene routine

11:30 to 12:00: Lunch time

12:00 to 12:30: hygiene routine, free time to play

12:30 to 2:30: Naptime

2:30 to 3:00: gradual wakeup time

3:00 to 3:30: transition, snack, hygiene routine

3:30 to 5:30: guided activities and/or outdoor activities.
