Rose petal modeling dough

Ingredients:

  • ⅓ cup of all-purpose flour (quantity may vary depending on brand)
  • Approximately 2 tablespoons of water
  • 1 tablespoon of salt
  • Approximately 3 cups of rose petals (you can find faded roses at your local flower shop or purchase potpourri)

Steps:

  1. Mix the flour, water, and salt together until dough is stiff.
  2. Cut the rose petals (or other flowers) into tiny pieces and then rub them between your fingers to crumble them.
  3. Gently add the petal pieces to the dough. The dough must remain malleable. Add as many or as little petal pieces as you wish, depending on the consistency you wish to offer.
  4. The end result will be scented dough that provides a different texture children will love to explore.
