Story-filled eggs - Extra activities - Educatall

Story-filled eggs

Here is a simple project you can enjoy with your little bunnies!

  • Purchase plastic Easter eggs that can be opened.
  • Insert a word (word flashcard or illustration) in each egg.
  • Deposit the eggs in a basket.

Children can take turns picking an egg and inventing part of a story based on the word hidden inside.

If you prefer, you can have each child pick one egg and then invent a story for your group that includes all the words. Another method would be to begin a story and encourage children to complete it, using their word as inspiration.

Leave your egg-filled basket in your reading corner or on a table. Children will enjoy inventing new stories over and over again!

Happy Easter!
