Create a simple egg carton memory game

You know how much I love creating simple homemade games that cost next to nothing... This time around, I have a simple memory game you can make in under 15 minutes to share with you. Let's get started.

To create your egg carton memory game, you will need:

• A few empty egg cartons
• Poster paint and other decorative accessories
• Scissors
• Pairs of tiny objects that you can place under the egg carton sections (see list below for suggestions

How to make your memory game:

Begin by cutting the different egg carton sections.

Once they have all been separated, paint and decorate them as you wish. Let dry.

When they are dry, set them upside down on a table. Set a tiny object or picture under each one.

Your memory game is ready. Children take turns lifting two egg carton sections, trying to find matching items as in a traditional memory game.

A few ideas of tiny objects you could use:

• Colourful buttons
• Stickers
• Miniature erasers, variety of shapes
• Colourful paper clips
• Bingo markers, variety of colors
• Fun Foam shapes
• Tiny pompoms
• Tiny pictures

Note: Because this game requires tiny items, it is for older children. Constant supervision is necessary.
