Fun And Easy Popsicle Stick Puppets!
These Popsicle stick puppets are quick, easy, and fun for kids of all ages. I enjoy making crafts that kids can have fun with once the crafting is done. My little ones had so much fun putting on little puppet shows with these after we were finished.
Supplies
- Popsicle sticks
- Yellow and white chenille stems
- Yellow and white paint
- Paintbrushes
- Scissors
- Yellow, white, and orange construction paper
- Pink marker
- Google eyes
- Glue or glue dots
Step One
Have children paint the Popsicle sticks white and pink. While the paint is drying, cut out the shapes for the puppet heads as well as two small triangles for the beak (little ones might need a little help with this step).
Step Two
Have children draw on the bunny’s ears and nose using the pink marker. Then, using glue or glue dots, children can attach the heads to the Popsicle sticks and glue the eyes and beak in place.
Step Three
Wrap the chenille stems around the Popsicle sticks, just below the head. Be sure to leave a loop at each end to create the bunny’s arms and the duckling’s wings.
Have fun creating and playing with these cute little Easter puppets!
