Accordion-Fold Paper Snakes
Accordion-fold crafts are always a favorite in our house. My kids had so much fun making these, and even more fun playing with the finished craft.
Supplies
- Colored Paper
- Pencil
- Scissors
- Glue or glue stick
- Wiggly eyes
- Black marker
Step One
Cut out all your snake shapes. You will need two strips of paper for each snake body (more for a longer snake), a snake head shape, and a tongue.
Step Two
Glue two paper strips together to begin the accordion fold. Fold the paper strips accordion-style and secure with glue. You can glue two of these accordions together for longer snakes.
Step Three
Now, glue the snake’s tongue under the head and glue the head on the accordion snake.
Step Four
Next, glue the wiggly eyes on the snake’s head and draw nostrils using the black marker.
That’s it! This is another simple craft that is as fun to play with as it is to create! My kids had so much fun making these little snakes jump all over the table.
