Pompom Froggy

Pompom animals are always a favorite craft for my little ones. They had fun making these adorable little pompom frogs.

Supplies

  • Colored Paper (red and green)
  • Pencil
  • Scissors
  • Glue or glue stick
  • Green yarn
  • Fork
  • Wiggly eyes

Step One

The first step for making your pompom froggy is to cut a piece of green yarn approximately 20 cm long and place it in the middle of the fork as shown below.

Step Two

Next, wrap yarn around the tines of the fork, working your way from the bottom to the top.

Step Three

Tie the small piece of yarn around the wrapped yarn as tightly as possible.

Step Four

Remove the yarn from the fork and cut the yarn loops all the way around. Fluff out and trim your pompom somewhat to make it nice and circular.

Step Five

Cut two circular shapes slightly larger than the wiggly eyes and some froggy feet out of the green paper. Cut a small mouth out of the red paper.

Step Six

Glue all the froggy parts on the pompom.

That’s it! Say hello to your cute pompom froggy!

Hi my name is Kyla and I am the owner of MyFUNvelope. I have six wonderful children who keep me busy and love to craft and discover just like their mom!

MyFUNvelope is a Canadian craft subscription box delivering fun to children ages 3-9. Our mission is to provide an affordable craft subscription that inspires children and keeps them interested and engaged. Each month, we deliver a themed craft kit right to your door. Each Myfunvelope contains 4 crafts or activities, one STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) activity to promote hands-on learning, a learn-to-draw card, and a paper craft. Markers, scissors, and glue dots are also provided.

MyFUNvelope was created by a busy mom for busy moms! We aim to create kits that are fun for kids and stress-free for moms with little mess. I promise no glitter!!! We also send glue dots instead of glue to make it easier for smaller children to craft independently.

We are passionate about our company and its mission. We would love to hear any feedback or suggestions you may have for us.
