Paper Tulips
These beautiful paper tulips represent a fun spring-themed craft, just in time for Mother’s Day. Kids will love making a bouquet of these to bring home to Mom.
Supplies
- Colored paper (green and tulip flower colors)
- Pencil
- Scissors
- Glue or glue stick
- Paper straws (green if possible)
- Hole punch
Step One
Draw a tulip shape on a piece of card stock paper and cut it out. You will use this shape to trace tulips on the colored paper. Make your tulip model somewhat longer so that your tulips look the right size once they are folded accordion style.
Step Two
Trace and cut out the paper tulips. Also cut some tulip leaves out of the green paper. Younger children will need help with this step.

Step Three
Fold the tulip shapes accordion style. We found they look nicest with the bottom folded in and the top folded out.

Step Four
With the tulip shapes still folded, use the hole punch to cut a hole through the middle of each one.

Step Five
Insert a straw through the holes in each tulip and glue paper leaves on it.

That’s it! This fun spring craft is affordable and easy to create! These would look way cuter with green straws, but we could only find blue.
